Meet the Team

  • Harnoor (Noor) Galani

    Harnoor Gill is the founder of Pulse and Prose and is supported by an amazing team of co-founders. She is a third-year medical student at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned her B.S. in Neurobiological Sciences and B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis. She is deeply passionate about pathology research and advocating for equity.

    Passionate about writing, Harnoor enjoys reading nonfiction Asian literature and exploring diverse narratives. She served on the editorial board of The California Aggie, UC Davis’ student-run newspaper, where she built her writing and editing skills. This experience deepened her love for science communication and investigative journalism.

    In her free time, she loves lounging in a hammock with her Kindle and a matcha latte, journaling, hiking, and indulging in gory horror and thriller movies.

  • Taranjit Kaur

    Taranjit Kaur is a third-year medical student at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Biology, earning departmental honors. Taranjit has been actively involved in research at UCLA since 2017 and has published her work in various peer-reviewed journals. She is currently focused on pathology research and is excited to begin a post-junior fellowship in pathology at UCLA this June.

    Outside academics, Taranjit enjoys running her pathology podcast, Grossly Speaking, weightlifting, exploring Southern California beaches, cooking healthy meals, and watching thriller and horror films. She values quality time with her supportive partner, kittens, and close friends.

  • Dr. Daryl Traylor

    Dr. Daryl Traylor is a second-year M.D. student with a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He serves as an Institutional Review Board (IRB) member, a Board Member for the American Osteopathic Association Bureau of Osteopathic Research and Public Health, and a Review Editor for the Journal of Health Equity. Additionally, he holds faculty positions at Arizona State University, Chamberlain University, Eastern Washington University, and A.T. Still University, teaching in life sciences and public health programs. Additionally, Dr. Traylor is the co-owner of Path Forward Education with his wife, Dr. Anderson. His research focuses on primary care HIV PrEP prescribing practices disparities within medical education.

    Beyond academics, Dr. Traylor enjoys mentoring students from diverse backgrounds, cooking for Eboni, and spending time with his cats.

  • Dr. Eboni Anderson

    Dr. Eboni Anderson is a double Ph.D. and full-time faculty member at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, where she teaches in the D.O./MPH program. With over a decade of experience in higher education, she specializes in academic program leadership and teaching in public health, community health, health care coordination, and health sciences. Passionate about education and research, Dr. Anderson focuses on HIV/AIDS, social determinants of health, and medical education. She has co-authored several manuscripts, contributed to a published e-book, and excelled in developing impactful curriculum and instruction. She also co-owns Path Forward Education with her husband, Dr. Traylor.

    In her downtime, she enjoys engaging in the creative arts and spending time with Daryl and their two beloved cats, Loki and Thor.

  • Harsimran Singh

    Harsimran Singh is a motivated first-generation senior at UC Berkeley interested in becoming a medical malpractice lawyer. Recently, he completed a HarvardX course on Preventing the Next Pandemic and a UCI cancer research internship. Actively engaged in the Biology Scholars Program at Berkeley, Harsimran connects with graduate students and diverse medical communities. He enjoys volunteering at Paws for Mental Health Club, serving the unhoused Berkeley community, and conducting research in public health. Apart from school, Harsimran's hobbies include weightlifting, playing chess, cooking, and spending time with his kittens, Leo and Luka.

  • Yuvraj Gill

    Yuvraj Gill is a dedicated first-year student at UC Davis majoring in Molecular and Medical Microbiology. Recently, he completed an internship at the UC Davis Institute for Regenerative Cures, researching mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and evaluating the effectiveness of different MSC states—live, dead, or both—in reducing inflammation in diseased mice with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and Crohn’s disease. Passionate about helping others, Yuvraj volunteers at Kaiser Permanente, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and video games with friends.
